Are you a passionate and dedicated MFL (Modern Foreign Languages) specialist with expertise in both Spanish and French? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a dynamic team!

Job Description: As an MFL Spanish and French Specialist Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a love for languages and providing high-quality education to students. Depending on your speciality, you will teach students Spanish and French at various levels, ensuring a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that supports their linguistic development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive Spanish and French lessons catering to the needs of students with varying abilities and backgrounds.
  • Develop and implement effective schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments per the curriculum guidelines.
  • Utilize innovative teaching methods and resources to enhance students' language skills, cultural awareness, and overall understanding of the subjects.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to enable continuous improvement.
  • Encourage students' participation in extracurricular activities, such as language clubs, competitions, or study trips, to further immerse them in the languages and cultures.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, specializing in MFL with a focus on Spanish and French.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum requirements for MFL.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Dedication to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters students' confidence and progress.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure the success of the MFL department and the academy.
