TEACHER OF FRENCH - MPS / UPS
(Required for Jan 2024 start or sooner if available-Permanent Position)

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of French to join one of our Ofsted rated Good secondary schools in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

Candidates must have the ability to teach French at KS3, KS4, and A-Level. The ability to offer some German would be a bonus but not essential. ECT teachers are welcome to apply, and the school offer a fully supported programme, including regular subject specific mentoring and whole school training. The successful candidate will be well-qualified and committed to ensuring excellent outcomes for every student. MFL is taught as a core subject at KS3 and is currently optional at KS4. Students who choose a language do well and both French and German are among the highest performing subjects at GCSE in the school. They currently offer both French and German at A-level and students achieve well in these subjects.

This is a department where the right candidate would have the scope to develop their practice using the latest research and methodology in a supportive environment.
