We are seeking a dedicated Secondary Tutor to join our team in Horley, Surrey. As a Secondary Tutor, you will be responsible for providing academic support and guidance to secondary school students. Your main focus will be on helping students develop their understanding of various subjects and improve their overall academic performance.

  • Deliver engaging and interactive tutoring sessions to secondary school students
  • Create tailored lesson plans to meet the individual needs of each student
  • Assist students in improving their study skills and exam preparation techniques
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure learning objectives are met
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
  • A relevant qualification in Education or a related field
  • Proven experience working with secondary school students
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Additional qualifications in specific subject areas
  • Part-Time hours, with flexibility in scheduling
  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension
  • Work closely with students in a classroom or one-on-one setting
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
