Do you have a passion for helping primary-aged children reach their full potential?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Primary Tutor to provide tailored one-to-one or small group tuition for pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children in building confidence, improving attainment, and developing a love for learning.

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons tailored to each pupil's individual needs.
  • Adapt teaching methods and resources to suit different learning styles and abilities.
  • Support pupils in core subjects, including English, Maths and, where appropriate, Phonics.
  • Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Build positive relationships that encourage confidence, motivation and academic success.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and attendance.
  • Experience teaching or tutoring primary-aged pupils.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE or equivalent) is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
  • A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach to teaching.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.
