MFL Teacher

Teaching Personnel

One of Teaching Personnel’s regularly using schools has recently contacted the agency to advertise for an MFL teacher who can ideally speak either German or French. The role would be a full-time temporary position starting after the schools February half-term until the end of the school year. The school is an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ school that is located a five-minute walk from the nearest tube stop allowing for easy commuting into and out of the area.

The role would involve delivering a number of MFL lessons to KS3 and KS4 (GCSE) and performing regular formative assessments to track pupil progress. The school are flexible and can adapt the timetable depending on which language the candidate specializes in (German or French). The candidate will need form effective working relationships with colleagues and students due to the long-term nature of the role and so the ability to cultivate relationships easily is a must.   • Pay based on main pay scale ranging from: £3000 per annum depending on experience.
  • French and/or German MFL Teacher required.
  • Monday to Friday during term-time.

The ideal candidate will be confident with a classroom setting and will have strong literacy and numeracy skills. The candidate requires QTS in an MFL subject, either ECT’s or more experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
