You will be teaching French to KS3 pupils at a growing Academy in West Bromwich. The academy specialises in health care and health sciences, giving pupils academic lessons alongside hands on experience.

The curriculum is based on term long themes, where wider subjects are taught along the health and social focus. You will be delivering lessons to Year 7 and 8, with the potential to shape your career as the setting grows. Moving forward there will be opportunities for you to grow the department and offer languages at KS4 and Post 16.

You receive support and training from the wider trust to develop your subject knowledge and how best to teach it. Your school SLT is mindful of workload amongst the changes, which is appreciated and valued by your colleagues; everyone is working together with dedication and purpose. There are also wider career progression opportunities within the trust and leaders are keen to progress home-grown staff.

This secondary Academy is based in West Bromwich and due to expansion, is recruiting a permanent French Teacher (QTS). You will be teaching French to KS3 pupils and inspiring pupils to exceed their target grades.

This is an exciting permanent opportunity in a school committed to recruiting the best quality teachers to continue their vision of excellence. The successful candidate will need to be able to start January 2024 (or sooner if possible). ECT’s are welcome to apply.

Salary: M1 – M6 depending on experience

To be successful in your application, you should;

• Hold a relevant UK Teaching qualification
• Have knowledge of teaching KS3 and/or GCSE French
• Be able and willing to travel to the Sandwell area
• Have high expectations of yourself in your career and the pupils you teach
